GREAT!!!
Othe deadline day of the Summer Transfer Window of 2008, Manchester United ended their long-winded speculation of signing Dimitar Berbatov by forking out £30.75 million for the Bulgarian Tottenham Hotspur Striker, after a tight tug-of-war.
Dimitar Berbatov signed a 4-year deal with the Red Devils.

The Bulgarian said, "Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me. I look forward to playing my part in helping this club win more honours in the years to come."

Well, the transfer fee could be costly, but as a United Fan, I strongly believe the £30.75 million spent will be worth it, buying such an impressive player, strengthening the squad.

Let's Hope Dimitar Berbatov can BLAST more goals in and bring Manchester United to more glory! Together with main keys Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United shall be the strongest team in the world!

AT LAST! The 5 Day 4 Night OBS Camp is FINALLY OVER!! Yay!!

Though it's just 5 days, I did cry on Day 2 and Day 3 (:. I missed home alot!!

I am thankful my camp was quite a smooth one, nothing is misplaced, just 27 (now 24) mosquito bites. Also, I lost somewhere between 2.5-3.0kg! Amazing!

I hiked about 4km from campsite 1 to campsite 2.

I kayaked 12km continously from campsite 2 to campsite 3.

I hiked about 8km from campsite 3 to campsite 1.

Really lots of output, and also, I ate very little, compared to most people, causing massive loss of weight. (:

Oh man..., I don't like missing Maths Talent Class, but I don't want to drop AEM either. I hope there can be a change in schedule for MTC!

#1 Taking of AEM
I opted for an AEM: Combinatorics. It's a maths-based academic elective module. Since I'm interested in that, I decided to take it and try out. Hehe, hopefully, it can help me next time, and I can do well for it, try not to drop (unless i think I can't cope).

Argh. I'm going to hate OBS.

#3 A mountain, of not assignments, but TESTS!!!

Results for Mid Year isn't very good. I'll need to buck up for Semester 2 to secure a GPA of 3.0 n above all the way until EOY. That's about it for the Exams.

Week 4 is quite scary

WEEK 4 is a scary week. It started and ended in the form of roller coasters.

MONDAY
Nothing except SMO training. Revise for Bio paper.

TUESDAY
Bio paper was ok, except 1 question forgot some reaction. Hope can at least 27/45 (60%, B4).

WEDNESDAY
Nothing much happened for tt day. Except a guy (a Bank's CEO cum ex-sportsman) came to talk how he managed his studies and sports properly. I hope to follow him :D!

THURSDAY
Got back Chem Class Test 2. Better than I expected, i thought I would fail, because I missed 3-4 lessons regarding that topic. Lols, 12.5/25 (50/100). Hehe, exactly pass.

FRIDAY
Maths test- quite ok. Hope can get A1.
Physics- SCREWED. Miss some lessons for Kinematics, and blablabla, pray that I can pass!!!
NAPFA- Some sections decreased frm last yr but still got silver. Wasn't feeling well today.

Individual competition is starting next week. I vs Lui Y Z (NYJC) on 16 April, at 2.50pm, Paya Lebar MGS. It's the first time I take part in the U-17 Category. Hope to do my best!!

Mid-Year Exams is coming. I hope to maintain > or =3.0!! I need to manage my time properly though!! (:!!

Well this week was quite normal.

No competitions this week, so this can be a rest period before my U-17 Individual competitions in, which starts from 16 April.
MONDAY
Nothing much happened, except for Maths Olympiad Training, 4.00-5.30. SMO Training peeps no need pay the $8 for SMO competition in 27 May :)!!!

TUESDAY
We welcomed our Year 2 juniors to the B Division for Table Tennis. Had a great time with them. Some of them so funny!

NOTHING Significant happened on Wednesday n Thursday.

FRIDAY
NAPFA 2.4km Run. Timing: 16min 54sec, managed to maintain D grade at least, which is the minimum to obtain Silver for NAPFA Test. Hope nothing slips for next Friday's 5 stations segment!
Physics RnW half-sucks. Too little time, though finished it somehow.

I was browsing through my photos and this contains the nicest memory among all. This was me celebrating my 12th birthday with pioneer batch of table tennis mates. It really makes me miss them a lot sometimes, even though I do meet them in Zonals and Nationals. Hope STTA organizes some competition that can do mixed team (as in not boy/girl, but can combine us one lar)!

Hahaha.

Individuals coming up in 2 weeks, and it's 2 weeks from Mid Year Assessment too.

Ok, some updates for the week so far.

MONDAY
Match against St. Nicholas Girls'. Both C n B Girls lost 1-4. I played against Mavis, a youth team player. Lost 1-3, but it's better than i thought hehe.

Competition was quite ok, but well, haha.
To the C n B Girls:
Jiayous for SNG match on Monday!!!

I got my progress report back today. My GPA is 3.1 haha, but HCL n SS C5 only, hehehe! I never scored >3.0 before!
I'm quite happy with my other subjects (English, Maths, Triple Science:))... haha, esp. English haha, 70 (nvr expected). Chem is grrr...74.
Maths is a must to mantain A1 or else looks like a flake of luck, this time I scored 77.
Higher Chinese and SS, the percentiles are 31 n 22 respectively hehe.
TunRen and Xuejun are even better! They topped the class with 3.4 for GPA...
But ZL is even more pro dudes! 3.9 for his GPA! Means everything A1 + 1 A2 eh!! PRO my god!
But whatever, I will continue to work hard, hope to mantain >3.0!...

Back from Australia.
Completed 6.5/14 HW already, which sucks (although it's good Chem Reading n Writing Assignment n Phy Revision Paper is handed in on W2). Hope complete the need to hand in on W1 hw over the weekend!
Also, for my piano, 2 weeks ago, I skipped to Grade 7, which gives me excitement, and also killing feeling! Hahaha!

Anyway, national table tennis championships are coming up too!

Ok, so here goes... some test results

(Note: As I heard, these make up onli half of actual CA1 grade, haha lols)
Maths- 15/20, 18/30
(Gosh, but all the other 4 graded assignment full marks, so can pull up=D)
Physics- 24.5/40 (Wow, can pass with frying colors man! Still got OA can pull up marks)
Chemistry- 14/25 (Wow, also passed with frying colors! Still got OA help)
Biology- 21/35 (Thought would fail, but got B4!:)! Still got OA can help)
HCL- 17/40 (Whatever, compo to pull up i guess...=.=)
SS (Geog)- 13.5/25 (Heehee, crapcrapcrap still can pass, hope the Hist section can help)

Lols! So so far in class this, i guess, should be okok. But shall work hard!!

RV Table Tennis 'B' Girls defeated NanHua High School 3-0 in the Semifinals of the 2008 West Zone Championships on Friday. So we qualify for the Championships final on Monday, and our opponent is NYGH. So we shall put in true full tank strength against them!! :)!
'C' Boys made it to the finals too! They won Fuhua Sec 3-1. They'll fight for the top with Hwa Chong Institution.
'C' Girls are also contending for the Championship with NYGH.
But 'B' Boys! Don't give up hope too! FIGHT for the 3rd place and snatch it from Fuhua Sec!!

OK. Yesterday, won Kranji 5-0. For myself, I played 3rd singles. Played against a quite good player, and the match dragged till 6pm++. (Sorry if I've dragged you peoples' time, haha). In the end managed to survive the scary match by winning 3-2. Will tell you the full story next time, tomorrow vs New Town, shall have a good Group Stage conclusion before proceeding to the Semi Finals, most probably against NHHS. =)! RV 'B' Girls, we'll jiayou tomorrow!

Year 3 is very hectic and busy. Besides the pile of tests and small projects, I have competitions and piano to juggle with. I already finished my Physics and Chemistry Oral Assessment, and now, I'm preparing for my Biology Oral Assessment. Now my regular school schedule (excluding competitions) is even busier.
I hope I can juggle my academics, piano, and my competitions + CCA properly!

Start of West Zone Table Tennis Championships

13 Feb 2008 Marks the start of the 2008 West Zone Table Tennis Championships. For the 'B' Girls, the opponents today were Fuhua Secondary and Dunearn Secondary. We won 5-0 for both matches!
Next week v Kranji and New Town! We shall win!

End of another Week (Super Hectic)

There are 2 tests today. It's so energy and brain-juice-consuming!
Physics test is half manageable, half difficult, and I managed to finish only in time. My friends said they either didn't finish, or finished in time. Physics... Hope the next Physics Written Assessment is not as difficult as this one. And, I hope this test's weightage is lower!!!
Maths...Quite okay, just hope that I am allowed to simplify my answers for the square root of "b^2-4ac" if it's not a perfect square, as that "privelege" may (most likely) earn me full marks! Oh well, but I target at least 85%(17/20)!!! I think it should be reachable!
Next week, I have Chemistry Test on Tuesday and Biology Test on Week 6!! I must study hard!

Hehe! I have to change my study methods to hit those!!!

Well, today nothing much happened. Just Lessons, CCA, Blablablas!! Haha, lols, RV is turning 52 tomorrow. Going for groundbreaking ceremony of new RV site. Lols! Hope it's gonna be fun!=)!

Life of Year 3

Wow! Lessons begin on the 2nd day of School. It's real different from Year 1 and Year 2, when lessons begin either Week 2, 3 or even 4. Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Social Studies, English and Chinese lessons started. It's left with Biology without any headstarts now!
Now I'm done at school at these times:
Monday- 7:30am~3:10pm
Tuesday- 7:30am~2:00pm (School Hours), 2:30-5:30pm (CCA)
Wednesday- 7:30am~2:00pm
Thursday- 7:30am~2:20pm (School Hours), 3:00-6:00pm (CCA)
Friday- 7:30am~2:00pm

So hectic right? Compared to Year 1 and Year 2, the latest release time is about 2:15pm! WOW!

First day of School

TODAY'S FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, and as a Year 3. Wow! Also, first day as a member of 3K'08. It's 17 Girls, 19 Boys, so total 36 people in our class. Made some new friends (Xiaoxi from 2K'07). Lols! Okay, I sat next to her. Haha! So talked to each other and laughed lots. Haha! Form Teacher is Mr Wu (new teacher, also our Biology teacher). Wow lols! Hope I've a great time in Year 3!

HEY! I got posted to 3K!
So it's Bye 2L'07, Hi 3K '08!

I've some CCA mates (but are boys-.-), and 1 of my best friends from 1/2L (Venus). Hehe, Felicia got posted to 3I. And Jun Ming go to 3A! Wha, choose 8D still go there! Pro right, maybe because his GPA is 3.6, and only 84 people choose 9A, and besides, there are 3 classes (3A,C,E) meant for 9A. Jia Rong go 3E lols (GPA 3.3). Whoa Man! 5 of 2Lers go 3K 2008.
My class is meant for 8C students (so is 3L), but got 1 9A student with us leh, but humanities is Music, so well haha.

Hmm... so 3K 2008 is consisting of 35 students. Lols! Hope I've a good time!=)

HAHA Yeah. Outing with my 2 NHPTT Juniors (Yi Rong and Deirdre), to get a Birthday Present for another of my dear junior Jovina. We went to Raffles City first, then found nothing which is appealing and with a reasonable price. So, that's how I managed to pay my first "visit" to Jurong Point (in Boon Lay). We went there shortly after "exploring" bits and parts of Raffles City. Then go there, found a GIANT Mickey Mouse Hand Glove. Lols! Deirdre found it soooo cute, that she wasn't willing to let it go even when paying for it. Haha! Cute juniors! Lols! Then, to conclude the day, we ate McDonald's, and... FINISH! We went home! And another day has gone!

Hello! I haven't been posting for a week. Whatever! Hmm... nothing much these days, just eat...sleep...study...play...whatever. Then I finally chose my other 2 Piano Grade 6 Pieces. So now it's like this:

Piece A:4 Allemande (by J.S. Bach)
Piece B:3 Melodie (by Josef Suk)
Piece C:4 A Story Untold (by Avril Anderson)

Scales, Sight-Reading, Aural, Theory (wha mus quickly screw up and pass Grade 5 theory by Nov 2008 or else I can't take Grade 6 Practical in July-September 2009! But after I pass Gr5 Theory, I got freedom to take Gr6-8! whoots!

Good luck to myself! At least got near 2 yrs to play Gr6, but will definitely master it quickly, so I can start my Grade 8 pieces from early 2009 (wha juggle Gr6 and Gr8 ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! btw, i should be skippin' grade 7 ), then can finish Gr8 by 2010, and whoots! CONGRATS to myself. This is my 200th post!
Anyway lols, nothing much happened this week yet. But My iPod Nano now has 299 songs! Finally, the music section of iPod occupied more than 1GB of the 4GB available (3.68GB, to be specific) space.
This is my reformatted computer, so NO more pop-ups! And everything is back to normal! Haha! Oh well, I'm going on to Year 3 soon, and soon, I'll know what combination I'll get, and which class I'll be posted to. 3A? 3B? 3C? 3D? 3E? 3F? 3G? 3H? 3I? 3J? 3K? 3L?
There'll be 1-2 Bicultural classes, and I think 3A is going to be top class again, so won't make it there. My senior said got 1 class is the "math-pro" class, and all students is this class are in maths talent class (although not all math talent class students are in this class). I hope to be posted to this class (and I think should get this class), and hope it is 3E! Why? Cos I think 3E sounds very nice! haha!

Oh my god! Time really flies fast. I'm soon going to be promoting on to Year 3. But at least no 'O' level preperation is here to haunt me as I'm under IP... . Jaime, Kelly, Sherilyn, Jocelyn, Jovina and Wing Lam just finished their first year in Secondary School... SO FAST! Now... The last batch(part) of the original school team that was first formed, is graduating in a week's time. YiRong, YiLe, Si Ying, ZiHui, last batch... . At the start of the year, I promised them I'll attend their graduation ceremony. But now..., sighs... I'm in overseas already and will only return in the end-of-november or early december. Cannot make it anymore, only to have YiRong send me photos of graduation ceremony... SAD... . I sincerely apologise to NHPTT P6 2007 for being unable to make it..., Especially all of you winning a huge stack of prizes, especially Yi Le, 3rd Generation of the CCA Prize and CCA Leaders Prize Double-Recipient.

And 2L... I miss 2L '07. 2 years with you people were really fast... I miss the laughter and everything we had in the 2 years. Yi Jin, was a special. Oh well. That's my final decision. I originally wanted Phy+Chem+Bio+Geog, but I didn't go appeal, as I'm scared that I can't juggle 9 subjects properly. So I went for the 8.5 subject combination, and DIDN'T go appeal for 9. And that .5 is math-based, so as good as 8 subjects lol. That module will support me when I take H3 Mathematics in Year 5/6. Heehee, like what Mr Choy said.

Most 2Lers chose Triple Science + extra SS or Physics+ Chemistry+ Geography.
Venus chose Triple Science + No humanities + No module (she ineligible for 8.5)

Some updates.
My EOY Average (for now): 65.2%
GPA (for now): 2.83

Now, preparing for the Learning Symposium on Wednesday n Thursday. Doing the powerpoint slides, script for presentation. Currently also digging for photos and postcards for decoration of our UK booth. Working Stuffs with dong ying, xi meng, guan lin. PICKED 2 most "deep impression sites" during fieldwork. PICKED River Tillingbourne and Guildford.
I was allocated to work with Dong Ying and allocated to do the River Tillingbourne. Guess I should do that site I suggested on, easier to think of stuff. Oh Well, tomorrow still need to stick photos, special diagram worksheets, and maybe other 'ornaments' on the mounting boards. Also, my England National Team Soccer Jersey came to use! =D! We'll need to hang it somewhere at the booth. But let's better hang on the day itself, cuz it's REAL EXPENSIVE, and the printing n jersey are both from Germany's Mega Soccer Store (I mean I went to GERMANY last yr to catch FIFA World Cup). Want to know exact price?

Ok nvm. Now talk about NSW Math, I was part of the odd-30 yr 2 ppl selected to go for this in addition to the compulsory AMC for yr 2s.
Managed to get a Credit, scored 33/40. Top 13%, means I'm soooooo close from the Distinction Benchmark I guess. A lil bit of tragic. But nvm! =D Still got nxt yr. Also as math talent class student, most likely nxt yr will take part in both again bah! So nxt yr get also can lah. Nvm, doesn't matter. Ah But YJ got HIGH DISTINCTION! Wha he pro lah, he topped our class for math for EOY (87/100). He got 39/40!!!! Whaaaaa!! (How i wish I can as pro as him some day=D)

Macbeth- 19/30 (woots! thought would fail, but still got 64.5%!)

Aiyoh, why thee exam results so quick to release???

Haiz, I only got back Math n Science (Chemistry). We only got Physics and Chemistry for EOY anyway, both occupy 50 marks each.

NOT GOOD, NOT BAD. (NEUTRAL)

Math: 71/100 (71%) (A2, oh well, improvements compared to B3 last time, hehe, but could hav gotten 78 if not for the 7 marks of not simplifying, pp, and blabla, WTH, though average for class is 60.8. AH MAN!!! nvm, hehehe)

Went to watch the National Science Challenge 2007 filming as an audience (or supporter). Our school's guys look cool in that red suit and white longgggg pants. Hey, we're gonna be broadcasted on TV on Channel 5 Mediacorp. Took 3 hours just to perfectly film a 30-min programme.
Was told the opponents are Raffles' Girls School (RGS) and Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) (ACS(I)). Thought we'd get kicked out in this 2nd round. But haha! Too bad! RAFFLES AND ACS(I), WE BEAT YOU and SCREWED YOU OUT OF ROUND 2. Initially, RGS was declared winner as there was some calculation error in the points system. 36 points to 38. Then realized supposed to be 38:38. Tie-breaking question related to Chemistry. Our dear representative quickly pressed the bell and yeah! Correct! We entered the Semi-Finals! Hehe!

Wednesday will be AMC! Mus get a CREDIT/DISTINCTION AT THE VERY LEAST! Read through! Bes of luck to myself!

EVERYTHING EVERYTHING. ANYWAY, MY HOLI is FULFILLED WITH UK TRIP, CCA, PLAY TIME, AND CCA CAMP! Now Sadly, School Reopened for NOTHING!
Ahhh, homework homework, then mini-tests follow up, what the hell!

UK TRIP
First day was brrr.... cold, 8 degrees. In afternoon, we have to wear some waterproof jackets, and it's severely cold enough to make us unable to feel our fingers. Then after that, some warm hot chocolate back in the field studies centre. We stayed in the classroom for some discussions and evaluation. First 5 days in UK was about d same, as we had breakfast, make lunch ourselves, go out for fieldwork, come back, tea break, discussions (part I), dinner, discussions (part II), go shower, bathe, slack... sleep. The lunch was the same though, having to make our own sandwiches. Had honey, ham, lettuce, and cheese.
Nxt day, we left the town of Surrey for London. London, so cool man! I'd love there. Many monuments, many nice foody and blablablabla. Rocking London, then we lived in a hostel, it's quite good, the only "con" is that we havta share bathroom with ppl frm other rooms. My roommates are 2 Year 3 students (Si Rui and Hui Yuan). Ok, good thing they're nice ppl. And another thing, the English Breakfast there ROX! Bacon, Hash Brown, Egg, Apple Juice. Shiok Breakfast. Then we left for Oxford to check out Oxford University, and the worst thing is halfway through this visit, my camera's battery went flat, so need to kope pics frm Huiyuan.

Explorer's and Connector's Week. (5-Days)

1st Day:
Enrichment Elective Module (8:00-14:30)
Got allocated to Lyrical Jazz, think it's my 4th or 5th choice. However, managed to appeal for Sports Stacking Module, my top choice. Got the vacancy exchanged with Phyllis (cuz she wanted Lyrical Jazz coincidentally though haha), and now I in same module as best buddy Hui Min. Yay!

2nd Day:
NSW International Competition for Schools (English Language) and Fieldtrip to Little India (8:00-14:30)
A little more of the academic-type enrichment programme for this day. Worst thing? Need to write some darn reflections after Little India Fieldtrip. Oh my fishy goshy!

3rd Day:
Leadership Talk and CIP Programme (8:00-14:30)
Hmmm... not very sure of what are the main subjects in the respective programmes for this day though. Yeah. Not sure, but should be meaningful.

4th Day:
Residential Camp @ RVHS (Part 1) (8:00~Next Day)
Whoa. 2nd residential camp in school in 4 weeks. Sian Larhx! Better than OBS I guess. haha! Going Mount Faber Clubhouse, water activities, trekking, amazing race.... . Started packing already! Hahax!!=D

5th Day:
Residential Camp @ RVHS (Part 2) (~10:00)
Yay! Early Dismissal ! No lessons, no nothing! yayx! Just simply directly go home after camp! Whoohoots! Then it will mark the end of E&C Week. Sad... then following week going to resume with darn lessons again. But havta thank school for offering Integrated Programme (IP), as it's IP tt gave us so much time and opportunity to broaden our skills, knowledge in all areas, do many research works. Hahax!

Hello! Just Returned from UK on 5 June. Anyways, got some small souvenirs for friends n family. Will post detailed stuff on the trip next post. Have to go for de-briefing n 'gathering' of the trip next Tuesday, 1.00pm.

The gathering, whereby we view the funniest moments of the trip, like Valerie eating custard frm a V large metal spoon, n she pouring out water from her wellington boots (Cuz she got her socks soaked with flooded water in the wellies!).

RVHS Open House Today!
Brought Yi Rong, Deirdre, and Si Ying to school @ abt 9.10am. SY came latest, so in ''compensation", her mum sent us there. Then, @ sch, I saw Dex (RVTT, you know who he is), VW n FC.
Took 5 min to search for the TT booth. Then saw SG, ZJ, PQ, JH, YJ... . Yeah! Then urm, Teacher I/C allowed YR, SY n DT for trials. JH n I (wow! amazing! cuz I'm sucking at it=P) are the "examiners" of these kiddies. Gave out the DSA forms too. Hope all 3 get in to RV!

-Singapore Maths Olympiad (haha! I'm exempted this yr cos of the UK Geography Fieldtrip)

First Visit to VivoCity

Well, today, my wish has finally come true: Going to VivoCity.

After school went with Venus n Felicia.
Then went to "Superdog" to eat a hot dog meal. Saw TYS.
After that, Me n TYS staring at VW n FC playing in the playground, which to me n TYS, those stuff a lil bit too childish.
Then, we went to window shop some other shops on the second floor, before making our way to one of the Adidas Concept Stores in Singapore.
There, I saw 2 of my potential birthday presents:
1. Predator FC v CF F50 Commemorative T-shirt
2. UEFA Champions League 2006/07 Finale Athens Official Match Ball

We shopped around the shop and found, what we call, "table top football".
It was Me n VW vs FC n TYS.
We hogged it for like, hmm.... 45 min-1 hr!!! Wow rarely got so mad football fans yeah?
Me n VW lost to FC n TYS 1-2, in terms of match aggregate.
But, it's fun, we are coming back to "take revenge" next Wednesday, since we're going to Vivo again next Wed, cuz Wed's the only common free day for the 4 of us.

HELLO FIRST TUESDAY TRAINING AFTER EXAMS.

Haix, just haven't got a Champions place yet in the RVTT 'C' div League A. Won 6 lost 2 and is 2nd place ya know!?
But it's okay, it's not a 1-time thing. At least I'm able to maintain at 2nd place. It's better than too much of up downs. A new season begins on Thursday. I'll definitely do my best to take the Champions title.
Kai Jun won all of her games. Pro! I think I am a lil bit too "ji2" in some matches.
Do my best in Season 5!

Well it seems a bit too early to do this. I'm setting my result minimum targets for EOY overall. Think I'll put in ALL my effort to do it, but the effort spent shall be worthwhile.

OK. I'm out in the 2nd round of the competition. Really vs a SNG girl!!!!! OMG!!!!! Real Shocking! But anyway, I lost like 1-3, which isn't too thrashing. Haha! At least still earn some experience and get exposed to more players. Hahax! Although i got knocked out early, but I'm still happy of my result. Could have done a lil better but, it's okay!

RIGHT. Today, announcing, my REAL CHINESE CA1 RESULTS!!
Well, for my 'fake' results (the 1 which appeared on report bk las time), is 53 MARKS (C6). Guess what's happened? Now, the real mark, besides the last time tt CA1 paper + Compo 1, they added Compos (2) n (3), Jian3 Bao4 and Oral 'Test'.
OK, now, Announcing.... 53%(C6)------>67.9%(B3)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK! ANNOUNCING.... Sylvia 3:0 ME!
Ok anything. yeah! I'm V proud of my results despite losing 0-3 to her. Sylvia, a seeded youth team player from RGS. Well, i did predict i'll just get like 1-2 points, happy oready.
But i din Xpect:
7-11, 6-11, 7-11, instead of my personal prediction: 0-11, 1-11, 2-11.
I'm simply relieved i didn't get 'wacked' too badly.=P LOL!
What I'm even more proud of, is the forehand chop I made. I finally managed to do it. Last time, for forehand chopping, i SUCK @ it, even worse than my juniors. But now, finally did it ONCE. Haha!! Somehow, quite competitive. before i lost 4 balls then 11-7, we were like playing 'tug-of-war'. Like this: 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7. Then i lose 4 balls. But seriously, i'm more than satisfied with my results! However, i could haf gotten, maybe 1 or 2 more points, if i weren't too rush jus now. I 'commit suicide' for a few balls, quite costly yeah? But nvm!! HAPPY(to the power, of infinity!!)! ~~:)~~

Ulu Pandan CC Competition

LOL! today had Table Tennis Competition @ Ulu Pandan CC.
Interestingly, as long as you make it to Second Round (Top 8), u can get trophy, and i did. I got a merit prize (Top 8) in ladies open, but ladies open mostly sec sch students leh, only 3 adults, yanglingg, n 2 unknown adults. Haha, had an easy Group Stage Draw. In Group H, Code: H1. I defeated sally n peishan. Won both easily 3-0 (1 GESS, 1 FSS). 2nd round, met yangling, wraghzz! Lost 1-3, but nvm, she far too pro. She was the eventual champ then. This is the Ladies Open. Haha now, got 10 awards for table tennis, 3 medals, 7 trophies. Shh... secret! i got invited to the ulu pandan cc team:P, can represent them in competitions too:)! haha!:) no show off!:)

Boys, now. All playing <16. Haiz, some rvttians met each other, such as junhao v jingzhan, kamseng v yufan. junhao n kamseng n yunpeng were merit prize winners, with yunpeng almost 3rd. He had the best progress among us, a semi-finalist.

rrrrr..... lost to SNG 0-5. But nvm. Work hard for e individual competition coming up in mid-April.

Hmm.... i vs. their 'super-woman', Patricia (a girl frm ATPS who defeated jaime badly 2 years ago...), a.k.a. a youth team player.

Initially, thought I'll get bashed up badly. But after all, not so. lost 1-3 (at least got 1 sett). (nah, no show-off, just happy)

The scores:
7-11, 10-12, 12-10, 6-11. lol:P
At least din get beaten up so badly:P.

Hehe, after that went to Harbourfront Centre 'Food Junction' (FJ) to eat with Pearly, Peiqi, Rousi,Shibin, Sinyee, Sherry, Stella, Yeejin, Zhijun after competitions:)
Before that ppl except shibinny, peiqi, n lala went to food junction first. I followed the sec4s! Shibinny's REAL funny (her tone can change! man->woman, woman->man!:P) On the way to FJ, we explored parts n bits of VivoCity, n Harbourfront Centre! After having NICE foodd, we went home. rousi, pearly, n zhijunn went by bus. The rest of us took MRT from Harbourfont. It's (NE)Harbourfront->Outram Park(change to EW Line)->7 stops ->Clementi->HOME!! Reach home @ 8++pm. It's a nice ride with them!:)

Hmm.... let's work hard, n maybe the 'B' Girls Zero8 will spring out some surprises!!! hahaha!

AIYAH! STUPID!!! 19 March is coming!!! (Although i'm finished with 97% of HW). This remaining 3% goes to the need to edit some project crap! Haizz, why must the holidays be just 1 week? Can't it be like 2 weeks!? Why? Such a SHORT holiday? They dump a huge mountain of homework into our face, expect us to complete them in a week, and make us submit quickly!! Aiyoh! Poor students! How can teacher expect us to jus do homework during hols n we almost no time to do anything else.
Think this kind of holidays can be renamed to >>"homework-holiday"
Ahh, hope June Holidays don't have as much HOMEWORK.

Teams from St. Andrew's Sec, HCI, RI, NUS High, RGS, MGS, NYGH n RVHS is in today's project festival final.

Learnt lots of stuff like SET, Maths behind Monopoly, M/M/1/G/infinite/infinite model, how to calculate square root without calculator +use Heron's Method, blablabla.

Hmm... today supposed to be a NHHS-NHPS friendly match. But only 3 NHHSians are there (Jovina, Wing Lam, their 'C' Girls best). Not only that, besides the 20 NHPSians n 3 NHHSians, there are 3 additional 'participants' representing 3 different schools. (RV,RGS,HCI). Hmm... interesting, I think the 3 of us (me, Sherilyn, Yifei) can be used to add more excitements and flavourings in the friendly.

WOW! AMAZING! WE BROKE A RECORD FROM WINNING NHHS. Usually, a match can be finished in 1 hour +. But this Semi-Final match, we took an amazing 2 hours before we are done with this match.
VS.ing NHHS means I'm vs.ing my juniors, J n WL.
THIS SEMI-FINAL is seriously a hard fight.
First singles. We had a super scary match, in which we subsequently lost 2-3. But I know she did her best.
First doubles. I could see RVTT putting in much effort, despite losing 1-3.
2nd singles. Yes! That's me! If i lose, means it's all over. But it wasn't to be. My opponent is Ting Huan, formerly frm NHP too. I knew her style oreadys. I beat her 3-0, but it's obvious she is tougher than our previous meeting. Winning 3-0 means, i helped to salvage a major point, (no show off), but i partially 'saved' RVTT from being eliminated. So the current score is 1-2, with NHHS leading.
2nd doubles. WL + the ex-NYP chopper pair. Well i thought it would be a hard match to beat NHHS. But, I could see, YJ n YR (this YR is NOT yirong), they applied mental strategies and beat NHHS 3-1. HAHA! We leveled 2-2. So who gets into the final, will be decided by 3rd singles.
We were down and trail 0-2, but that didn't fully wash away our hopes of making it into final. Listen to coach's advice. In the end, we won 3-2 for this set and 3-2 for the major 5 points. Yes! We made it! Our efforts paid off well and sweet.
We'll face NYGH in the West Zone Final! Wish us best of luck!
